March 26, 2025

The spring collection is here, so now is the time to ask: How do you style these pieces in your own home? For answers, we called on the Jenni Kayne Interiors team to provide a dose of inspiration. Below—our conversation with our team on the tips, décor, and standout pieces that will give your space the most satisfying seasonal refresh.

The Design Edit: Styling the Spring Collection

Rip & Tan: Walk us through your process and intention behind styling the spring home collection.

Linnea Schooley Diaz: With spring always comes a renewed energy, a desire to open up all of the doors and windows that have been kept shut all winter and bring the outdoors in. We approach styling for spring in the same way, by letting in fresh air and refreshing your space with rich colors and hues inspired by the renewal of the season.

Rip & Tan: How do you envision this collection fitting into everyday spring living, both indoors and outdoors?

Linnea Schooley Diaz: I love switching out linens in the spring so that your everyday items feel fresh and renewed for the season.

Rip & Tan: Are there any specific pieces from the collection that you believe work well for those looking to refresh a room without making a major overhaul?

Linnea Schooley Diaz: We originally made the Chateau Alpaca Coverlet as a custom colorway for the Farmhouse primary bedroom, and everyone loved it so much that we had to make it a part of our spring collection! It’s so stunning, and such a beautiful way to make your bedroom feel luxe with just one simple addition.

Rip & Tan: Candles are a great way to set the mood for any season. If you had to choose a signature scent for spring, what would it be?

Linnea Schooley Diaz: Topanga is always a winner, but I love the Hudson Candle for spring as well! It’s perfectly herbaceous and fresh without being overwhelming.

Rip & Tan: What are your tips for someone looking to refresh their space for spring?

Linnea Schooley Diaz: I always recommend starting with a spring cleaning and evaluating what’s still bringing you joy, what you can put away for the season, and what should be donated to eliminate clutter and excess.

Then swapping out throw pillows and blankets for lighter fibres in brighter tones is the easiest and the best way to refresh your space for spring! You can play with bolder tones and prints because it’s less of a commitment, and come the next change in season you can always swap them out again.

Rip & Tan: What piece from the collection are you most excited about and why?

Linnea Schooley Diaz: I am so excited for our Napa parchment collection launching in May. Every detail is stunning from the material itself to the silhouette, to the hardware. I can’t wait to use these pieces in upcoming projects!
