Hanging Pots and Pans

I always love the way pots and pans look hanging in a kitchen – in several of the featured profiles on Rip+Tan, this has been one of my favorite details. Whether for practical reasons such as maximizing space, or as an intentional design decision, it always works for me.

Some of my favorite examples: I adore Michelle Smith’s artfully displayed vintage chocolate molds that once belonged to her grandmother, Lauren Soloff’s simple, statement-making use of color, and Ariel Ashe’s design and space conscious vertical arrangement, perfect for her NYC apartment.

I also really like the idea of using a hanging rack, including this rack made using an antique beam, this sleek pot rack and shelf from March, and this one with an antique feel from Brookfarm General Store.

But my favorite look is that of pots and pans hanging on a simple hook in the wall. Some of my top picks: these iron nails and wrought iron hooks, both from Brookfarm General Store. XXJKE
